FAQs
"How long does sleep training take?"
The first 3 nights of sleep training are the most difficult, but once they have passed, it is smooth sailing from there! I recommend that families dedicate 10 consecutive nights to working on their baby's sleep, but most parents are very happy with the results by night 5!
"Is your method Cry-it-out?"
No, my methods are not CIO. There will definitely be crying involved, but you will always be there to support your baby. When your baby is crying you can be confident knowing that they are not crying because they are scared, or feel alone or abandoned, but rather just because they are learning a new skill and it is frustrating.
"Is there a minimum age to start sleep training?"
No, there is no minimum age for sleep training. You can start sleep training whenever you think it is a good time to start! Babies are capable of sleeping independently at any age. Read this blog post for more information.
"What are your prices for twins or triplets?"
My prices are the same if you have multiples. Dealing with more than one baby is hard enough without having to stress about paying more than you need to for sleep support.
"What do I need before I start sleep training?"
Before sleep training begins baby should have a consistent bedtime, ideally within a 1-hour range, for at least a week. If your baby does not, book a free 15-minute call with me so that I can help you achieve that before we work together. Getting your pediatrician's approval before starting is strongly encouraged too. In addition, you will need to have a crib, sleep sack, white noise machine, blacked-out room, and a video baby monitor.
